FY2021

The ceremony was held with the theme “Towards a customer value creating company ―YANMAR Service for the customer―” as an opportunity to share the direction of service activities we should provide to customers.
In the opening speech, Mr. Shibata, president of YGCS, explained the purpose of holding the Service Awards. After the awardees received their trophy, Ms. Nagata and Mr. Hiraoka, directors of Yanmar Holdings commemorated the achievements of all awardees.
The program also included a documentary about three of the top service engineers in Japan and a keynote speech about the need for companies to incorporate ‘service’ into their business model.
Finally, vice-president Mr. Morimoto made his closing remarks, expressing a deep appriciation for the service staff who work in the field, while emphasizing the importance of service activities and expectations for the future.
Although this was the first time to hold the event online, the audience provided a lot of positive feedback.
―I was very happy to see the people who usually work hard in the field receive awards.
―The flow was smooth and being at the venue, I felt a sense of unity.
―It was good opportunity to feel part of a group
As you can judge by these comments, the Service Awards made us feel more united as Yanmar.
