March 2003: Company founded
To adapt to the rapidly changing energy system business, YANMAR ENERGY SYSTEM CO., LTD. was established to integrate the work of Yanmar Co., Ltd’s Energy System Division and the ES Sales Departments of our various sales companies. It is responsible for Energy System operations within Yanmar Group, as well as development, sales, manufacture and maintenance, and mapping out project expansion.

March 2000: Establishment of Yanmar Co., Ltd. Energy System Corporate HQ.
The GHP Division and the Land Systems Division, who were in charge of air conditioning systems and power generation systems, were integrated to form an Energy Corporate HQ. The business was created to provide customers with comprehensive energy solutions by integrating air conditioning, power generation, and thermal energy services.

June 1997: Establishment of Yanmar Co., Ltd. Land Systems Division.
Yanmar Land Systems Division was created to integrate the engineering and maintenance functions of Yanmar Engineering Co., Ltd. Yanmar Land Systems Division was restructured with the customer in mind.

June 1992: Establishment of Yanmar Co., Ltd. GHP Division.
GHP (Gas Heat Pump air conditioning) was a rapidly expanding business which was able to adapt to business energy use and accurately reflect the needs of the market in terms of energy and the environment. To date it has achieved sales surpassing ¥10 billion. In order to further expand this enterprise, GHP was established as a separate division.
