Yanmar Kota Kinabalu R&D Center (YKRC) has participated for an education exhibition in the Malaysian Chemistry Carnival (K2M) 2023 organized by the Malaysian Institute of Chemistry, IKM (Sabah & FT Labuan Branch) on October 28th, 2023. The objective of this event was to promote awareness and appreciation of Pure and Applied Science and Green Technology in line with the country's needs for education in schools and universities. The theme for this event was “CHEMISTRY IS AWESOME!”. This event was held in Maktab Sabah, Kota Kinabalu and aims for 300 students' participation.

YKRC has contributed to the introduction of our company’s green activity and sharing the chemical laboratory knowledge such as introduction of the devices, glassware, hazard symbols and periodic table. We also provided fun games and quizzes to all students. In conclusion, the response received was great and we are glad to be part of this activity that nurtures and brings in a new generation of green scientists to our country.
