Donations to children’s support facilities

In 2021, Yanmar America (YA) employees conducted fundraising activities such as raffles (*1), free car wash day, casual dress day (*2), and presented a check totaling $14,065 to the charity “Advocates for Children”. This organization helps children who have been abused or neglected to live in a safe and loving environment.

Cleaning and maintenance of facilities for the homeless

YA has visited two facilities run by the local charity “Good Neighbor Homeless Shelter” four times in the last few months. Here they provide temporary shelter for people who have no place to live.
Ten YA volunteer staff carried out high-pressure washing of the exterior. In addition, four YA interns and two employees planted flowers, trimmed shrubs, and took care of the garden, and made shelves.

They also held a "Back to school drive" where all employees could make donations. They were able to give 65 children backpacks filled with school items.
