• Lubricating, sealing, cooling, cleaning the engine, and preventing rust on the engine.
• Using YANMAR Genuine Oil will enable your machine to perform at its MAXIMUM !

1. Pull out the dipstick.
2. Wipe the oil from the tip of the dipstick with a clean waste cloth.
3. Check the contamination of the engine oil, and insert the dipstick again.
4. If the oil level is between the upper and lower limit levels on the dipstick, the amount is adequate.

• Change the oil every 250 hours.
• Change the oil if it is contaminated or viscosity is low.

• The engine power will become low.
• It will cause the engine to overheat, and the engine will not operate.
• White smoke will constantly be emitted from the muffler.
• Connecting rod bearings, piston rings, or cylinder block will be worn.

• Removing contamination from the engine oil to keep it clean.
• Using YANMAR Genuine Filters will enable your machine to perform at its MAXIMUM !

Replacement timing cannot be determined from the appearance. Therefore, always check the periodic maintenance intervals.

• Replace the filter after 50 hours of initial operation, then replace it every 250 hours onwards.
• Replace the filter at the same time when changing the engine oil.

• Contamination (metal powder) cannot be removed from the engine oil, and the metal powder will cause engine parts to be worn.
• The engine will be seized in the worst case.

• Removing contamination from fuel.

• Drain water every 50 hours.
• Clean the element every 100 hours.
• Replace the element every 250 hours.

• The engine rotation will be unstable.
• It will cause the fuel Injection nozzles or fuel supply pump to be damaged.

• Lubricating, cooling, and preventing rust inside the transmission.
• It can be used as hydraulic fluid for hydraulic systems.

Gauge window

1. Check the oil level from the gauge window.
2. If the oil level is between the upper and lower limit levels, the amount is adequate.
3. If there is not enough oil, add oil until the oil level can be seen from the gauge window.

• Change the oil after 50 hours of initial operation, then change it every 600 hours onwards.
• Change the oil if it is contaminated or viscosity is low.

It will cause malfunction in power transmission or hydraulic system.

• Lubricating, cooling, and preventing rust inside the front axle.

1. Pull out the dipstick.
2. Wipe the oil from the tip of the dipstick with a clean waste cloth.
3. Insert the dipstick again. If the oil level is between the upper and lower limit levels on the dipstick, the amount is adequate.

• Change the oil after 50 hours of initial operation, then change it every 300 hours onwards.
• Change the oil if it is contaminated.

It will cause the gear to be worn or seized, resulting in damage.

• Removing dust and contamination from the engine intake air.
• Using YANMAR Genuine Filters will enable your machine to perform at its MAXIMUM !

• Remove the air cleaner cover.
• Pull out the element, and check for contamination.
• Blow air from inside of the element to remove contamination.
• Insert the element to the original position.
• Firmly put the air cleaner cover.

• Clean the element every 100 hours, or if necessary.
• Replace the filter every 400 hours.

• The engine power will become low due to insufficient air taken to the engine, and the engine does not operate properly.
• Black smoke will constantly be emitted from the muffler.
• It will cause premature wear to the piston rings.

• Driving the cooling fan and cooling water circulation pump, and charging the battery.
• Using YANMAR Genuine Belts will enable your machine to perform at its MAXIMUM !

• Press the belt with your finger and check that the deflection is between 15 to 20 mm.
• Check the belt for wear or damage.

• The belt is worn.
• The belt is damaged (belt is cracked).
• Replace the belt every 500 hours.

• Abnormal sound (belt slipping sound) will occur from the engine.
• It will cause the engine to overheat, and the engine will not operate.
• The battery will not be charged.

Cooling the heated cooling water.

Radiator screen

1. Remove the radiator screen.
2. Blow it to remove dust or contamination accumulated on the radiator screen.
3. Put the screen back to the original position.

Radiator fin

1. Check for contamination accumulated in the gaps between the radiator fins.
2. Blow air to the fin.

Grille Screen

1. Blow the both front and rear side of grille screens to remove dust or contamination.

Clean the screen every day.

It will cause the engine to overheat, and the engine will not operate.

Cooling inside the engine.

1. Check for cooling water amount in the sub-tank, and make sure it’s between FULL and LOW.
2. If there is not enough cooling water, add clean water.
3. If the cooling water is clouded, change it.

• The cooling water level in the sub-tank is below the LOW line.
• Long Life Coolant is used, change it every 2 years.

It will cause the engine to overheat, and the engine will not operate.

Preventing water or dust entry, and reducing friction force.

Major parts to be greased

• Tie rod end
• Front axle pivot (Front and Back side)
• Brake and parking brake linkage
• 3-point hitch
• Drive shaft (Rotary)

Apply grease every 50 hours.

Gears or traveling section will be worn quickly.
