Kiyotake as a Yanmar Ambassador
Kiyotake participates in Yanmar events and serves the role of conveying the importance of taking on challenges to young people who bear responsibility for the next generation. He also appears in Yanmar’s commercials.
Furthermore, using his transfer as an opportunity, the J.League International Series was held in July 2017 between Kiyotake’s old team, Spanish powerhouse, Seville FC, and his current team Cerezo Osaka. Together with Kiyotake, it was possible to provide an exciting experience to football fans in Osaka and throughout Japan.
Born November 12, 1989; from Oita-shi, Oita Prefecture. Midfielder. In the 2012/13 season, transferred from Cerezo Osaka to 1. FC Nürnberg in Germany’s Bundesliga. He became a core player, including being promoted to a starting player from the season-opening game, and achieved 10 assists in one year. In the 2014/15 season, fully transferred to Hannover 96, a veteran team also in Germany’s Bundesliga. He appeared in 53 games in the two seasons he played for the team, scoring 10 points. He transferred to the prestigious Sevilla FC in Spain’s La Liga, starting in the 2016/17 season. Kiyotake has made achievements in various countries around the world.
Starting with the 2017 season, he returned to his old team, Cerezo Osaka. He was first called up to the Japan national team in 2011, and he was active as a key player, playing in over 40 matches.
