YANMAR America’s Energy Systems division announces the addition of two new employees to its sales team. Effective May 2016, Rhoda Washington assumed the role of Sales Manager, and effective April 2016, Michael Cheatham assumed the role of Business Development Manager for Georgia.

Washington joins YANMAR after spending three years with EPIC Response based in Marietta, GA. She also worked for 10 years as a Senior Account Manager for a mechanical contractor, and is active in several professional organizations, including the Building Owners and Managers Association of Georgia (BOMA), Institute of Real Estate Management in Atlanta (IREM) and Commercial Real Estate for Women of Atlanta (CREW). Her previous positions and current participation in relevant professional organizations will assist her in her new role of developing and leading the Business Development team, implementing sales plans and processes and developing relationships with key individuals within the industry.

Prior to joining YANMAR, Cheatham spent eight years in the southeast as a Regional Sales Manager for CAREL USA and Erico Eriflex; he also spent nine years, most recently as a Sales Manager, with Optrex America, a division of Mitsubishi Electric. His experience in technical sales will be crucial for developing the company’s Energy Systems business in the state of Georgia.
