Yanmar America Corporation of Adairsville, Georgia announces the introduction of their High-Speed Commercial Work boat engines. This new range of Yanmar Commercial Marine diesel engines opens new opportunities for their commercial business throughout North and South America. The commercial marine diesel engine sector is already dominated by Yanmar in the Japanese and Asian commercial markets.

The Yanmar high-speed diesels offer propulsion and auxiliary power range from 350 to 1,800 hp [257 kW to 1340 kW] with the renowned reliability, durability and efficiency that are trademarks of the Yanmar marine diesel engines. These engines are compliant with the latest IMO Tier II emissions regulations, and have type approval by the 6 major classification societies. Suitable for a wide range of commercial applications including offshore support vessels, fishing craft, ferries, tugs and other workboats these engines offer the commercial user the benefits of easy installation and simple maintenance.
