3 November 2018 – The Ambassador’s Cup has become one of the Premier Sailing-Social Event in Singapore since its inception in 1999. At this 19th edition, CSC has achieved a record of 57 boats, 31 Ambassadors and diplomatic delegates, from 46 Embassies in Singapore for a day of sailing at Changi Sailing Club. This unique event has brought the world closer together. The event was supported by the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, Mr Albert Chua, Permanent Secretary.
The event kicks starts with a briefing for skippers and crew members. Ambassadors and skippers were then proceeded to their respective boats to begin their race, cruising across the great oceans and distance. We are glad that some of the participating yachts are powered by Yanmar engine. The teams are back in time before the heavy rain pours. The day ended with an informal dinner with life bands entertainment - multinational languages songs. Music breaks all cultural barriers, difference countries participants’ dance together and creates a beautiful small world scene.
