6EY26DF Engine Technical Seminar: Prepare to Serve

September 2018 – Sinanju Tanker Holdings will own and operate vessel equipped with the first two dual engines “6EY26DF”, to be built with liquefied natural gas (LNG) fuel supply system, in partnership with Mitsui & Co Ltd (Asia Pacific). With the delivery of vessel, expected in December 2019, it will be Singapore first dual-fuel powered bunker tanker running on LNG and marine gas oil.

While Yanmar strives to achieve a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions with its development of environmentally sustainable ship engines to provide optimum solutions to meet customers’ needs, Yanmar Asia (YASC) shall endeavor to provide optimal service quality to serve the customers better. Thus, with the collaboration of Yanmar Japan, Mr Nobuyuki Higa was dispatched to conduct a technical seminar on 6EY26DF engine on 19 October 2018 at YASC. Approximately 47 participants attended the seminar and 45% of the attendees were YASC’s distributors - Chong Lee Leong Seng Co Ltd (CLLS), Pansar Company Sdn Bhd, Star Marine, PT Pioneer and AVP (Philippine & Singapore).
Yanmar will make efforts to develop environment-friendly clean marine engines, providing optimum solutions to customer needs and YASC will continue to deliver the consistency in service quality to meet customers’ out of their expected needs.
