YASC and YANMAR CO LTD in collaboration with Pansar recently participated at Malaysia International Marine Expo 2016 (MIMEX 2016), an exhibition held from 27th to 29th September 2016. This event was shared in a previous article.
MIMEX 2016 is an international maritime and offshore industrial event that brings an international congregation of companies together in Sibu, Sarawak, Malaysia. It is an exceptional meeting point for the global maritime community in Malaysia, a region where the industry remains buoyant and strong growth is set to occur. MIMEX 2016 was organized by NRG Exhibitions (M) Sdn Bhd and held at Sibu Trade and Exhibition Centre (STEC) Sarawak, Malaysia.
Approximately 500 to 800 people had attended the exhibition. Kept Ahmad Shafirudin bin Abu Bakar TLDM (TENTERA LAUT DIRAJA MALAYSIA) (Malaysia Navy) was present for the event as well.
The main purpose of participating In the event was to promote the 4JHYE, 6AY series and 12AY series. Products exhibited include fuel oil filters, 12AYM-WST (1200hp) and 4JHYE (35hp). These products were promoted at the event itself to allow the main target audience of shipyard owners, naval architects and end users to view the physical engine.
