YASC (YANMAR ASIA) TECHNICAL TRAINING FOR VL SHIPPING IN THAILAND

YASC and Star Marine (YASC’s Thailand Distributor) conducted technical training for VL Shipping on 26th April 2016. In compliance with Ship Charterer Regulations, this training is required to be conducted annually. It was about a day’s training and focused on 6EY22 main engine. Trainees consisted of 13 ship crew members and 2 superintendents. PowerPoint slides and videos were used as training tools during the session. Topics were first explained, followed by a video clip of the same topic for in depth understanding. At the request of VL Shipping’s Technical Manager, YASC is also considering Technical Training School Program for the ship crew.
