This training program targets PT Pioneer’s technicians located at various parts of Jakarta in hopes of equipping them with the critical knowledge needed to resolve technical issues. In doing so, PT Pioneer will be able to deploy the nearest mechanic to customers in need, reducing the time taken for traveling. More than 20 trainees were chosen for this training.

On May 20, a final check was conducted for the TNV engines to prepare for the actual commencement of the training program. Mr. Tamizi and Mr. Sugiyama also delivered their respective opening speeches, before the training on theoretical knowledge for several topics began in the afternoon.

During the next two days, trainees were able to experience dissembling and troubleshooting the TNV engines first-hand, which proved to be a highly beneficial exercise for them. Certificates were also awarded to trainees.

Furthermore, representatives from Yanmar Japan took this opportunity to conduct a market survey, comparing the price and performance of China-made engines to Yanmar engines for future strategies and plans. The three-day training program ended on a hopeful note for all participants, empowering and developing talented technicians to grow with Yanmar.
