Emilia-based Edilvaltidone recently purchased a Yanmar V7-HW compact wheel loader from dealer RMC. Used mainly within its warehouses and construction depots, it stands out for its reliability and efficiency.

Like all the valleys that branch off from Piacenza, Val Tidone is named after the rivers that runs through it, as are Val Trebbia, Val Nure and Val d'Arda. Besides being rich in castles, this valley is known for the production of wine grapes, both white and red. A color, the latter, that is now also encountered here in a completely different sphere than wine. This is thanks to Edilvaltidone of Pianello Val Tidone, a construction company that has been active since 1999 in the fields of construction, renovation, demolition, roofing, excavation and general road and building work, including swimming pool construction, asbestos removal and real estate sales. In fact, to carry out its daily business, the Piacenza-based company recently purchased a Yanmar V7-HW compact wheel loader from the Piacenza-based dealer RMC.

Since 2018, RMC has represented our point of reference regarding the purchase and rental of machines and equipment, new and used, and the supply of original spare parts, adaptable for electrical parts, engine and transmission parts and wear parts, explains Gaetano Pulino, owner of the Edilvaltidone company. “In addition to guaranteeing maximum speed and efficiency in the delivery of what has been ordered, thanks to its well-stocked warehouse and dynamism in operations, RMC is a valuable technical advisor, a real partner ‘on site’, who always recommends the ideal solution for our needs. In fact, after acquiring Yanmar ViO17 and ViO57-6 mini-excavators and an SV100-2A midi-excavator over the years, the team has also recently added to its fleet a new V7-HW compact wheel loader, equipped with an automatic and integrated weighing system: "We use the v7-HW mainly within our construction depots and warehouses to carry out load and pallet handling activities and the loading of sand and gravel onto our own vehicles or those of the craftsmen who collaborate with us", explains Pulino.

A relationship, that with RMC and the Yanmar brand, that combines the trust established with the dealer with the intrinsic value of the Japanese manufacturer's machines. A quality recognized by Gaetano Pulino: “The V7-HW compact wheel loader is a very versatile machine, which we use mainly equipped with a bucket and forks, but which we occasionally equip with a mixer bucket. It is a true 'tool-carrier' - which we have tagged so that we can move it between different warehouses or between the latter and our inert material deposit that we quarry from the Tidone River with permission from the Emilia-Romagna regional authorities - which stands out for its reliability and efficiency.”

One of the positive features of the Yanmar V7-HW compact wheel loader found by Pulino is also its good fuel efficiency. “The engine with which this machine is equipped minimizes energy waste, helping to reduce overall operating costs, especially when the machine is used for extended periods. The engine is powerful, and although the machine is relatively compact, it offers good performance in terms of stability, load capacity and tractive force. The engine's power is combined with a very well-balanced hydraulic system, with a smooth transmission that helps make the machine easy to operate and allows for smooth and responsive performance.”

The V7-HW is also designed to be compact and maneuverable, Edilvaltidone’s owner confirms. “The loader is ideal for work in confined spaces, and the cab is provides good visibility, which is much appreciated by our operators in loading and unloading work. In addition, the driver's working position is comfortable, with easy-to-reach controls and a good level of comfort for long operating sessions. “Overall, as correctly suggested to us by RMC, the V7-HW compact wheel loader is the right choice for people like us who need a reliable and versatile solution but do not require the power of larger operating machines. In conclusion, having to outline the most interesting technical peculiarities we have found in this machine, we can mention the parallel kinematics system, the hydraulic Quick Hitch system (which allows us to easily replace the previously mentioned attachments directly from the cab), the automatic differential lock, the travel control, and the 360° visibility over the work area.”

Often having to use the machine in operating areas characterized by limited space, then, the Edilvaltidone company can benefit from the articulated steering offered by this machine, which provides great maneuverability thanks to the 40° steering angle and allows the bucket to approach loads in a straight line, even at the maximum steering angle, offering greater flexibility in terms of pallet picking or load placement. The oscillating joint has a wide swing angle (±10°), which keeps all four wheels in contact with the ground at all times, even when working on uneven terrain.
