EXTENSION OF STANDARD WARRANTY
Particularly in these uncertain times, we would like to reassure you that YANMAR stands behind its customers. Therefore, we are offering an extension of the standard warranty so boaters can enjoy a long and care-free summer season.
WHAT DOES IT ENTAIL?
YANMAR is extending its standard warranty period until 1 October 2020 on sailboat and powerboat engines, Kanzaki gearboxes, and YANMAR Sterndrives and Saildrives with a warranty end-date between 1 March 2020 and 30 September 2020. The extension of the standard warranty is applicable for recreational use only.
CONDITIONS
To qualify for this warranty extension, please register your product in the YANMAR Marine Support Portal.
Light-duty commercial applications and charter applications are not covered by this warranty extension. The standard warranty
conditions for leisure applications is 24 months after the purchase date of the first retail purchaser. The 2+3 extended warranty for sailboat engines as mentioned in the warranty handbook is not affected by this warranty extension
