Yanmar Becomes Official Match Sponsor of the Osaka Match

Yanmar will sponsor a match between Cerezo Osaka and Manchester United to be held at Nagai Stadium on July 26, 2013.

The match will be the first for Manchester United in Osaka and the first playing against Cerezo Osaka. Yanmar has been an Official Global Partner of Manchester United, where Shinji Kagawa plays, since the 2012-13 season.

Cerezo Osaka, formerly known as the Yanmar Football Club, is where current Manchester United star Shinji Kagawa started his professional career and Yanmar continues to manage the club to this day.

Itself a player on the global stage, Yanmar agreed to sponsor the match, considering its long association with Shinji Kagawa and in support of both clubs. With Cerezo Osaka a unique club in the Japan Professional Football League, it is hoped that the match will ignite interest in next year fs season and inspire the dreams of the younger generation.
