As part of our midterm policy to increase competitive global production, the Yanmar Group continues to expand production and procurement close to our major markets.

Today, Yanmar is proud to announce the establishment of a casting plant in Indonesia, with a view to providing the Yanmar Group’s global supply chain with high quality, cost competitive cast components.

Producing core cast components for diesel engines and a wide range of industrial machinery, the foundry is expected to support the continued expansion of the Group’s core businesses.

Cylinder blocks, cylinder heads, flywheels etc. for industrial diesel engines, as well as tractor transmission cases and clutch housings etc.

Approx. 4 billion yen (at full production in 2015)
