Yanmar to Produce Cast Components in Indonesia

As part of our midterm policy to increase competitive global production, the Yanmar Group continues to expand production and procurement close to our major markets.

Today, Yanmar is proud to announce the decision to establish a foundry in Indonesia, with a view to providing the Yanmar Group's global supply chain with high quality, cost competitive cast components.

Producing core cast components for diesel engines and a wide range of industrial machinery, the foundry is expected to support the continued expansion of the Group's core businesses.

  6. Investment:7.5 billion yen

  7. Employees:approx. 200

August, 2013

3. Production Capacity:

Approx. 30,000 tons per year (at full production in 2015)

4. Components Produced:

Cylinder blocks, cylinder heads, flywheels etc. for industrial diesel engines as well as tractor transmission cases and clutch housings etc.

5. Net Sales Target:

Approx. 4 billion yen (at full production in 2015)
