Osaka, Japan, May 16, 2024 - Yanmar Ventures Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Osaka; CEO/Managing Partner: Nobuyuki Oda) is pleased to announce its investment in MEEQ Inc. (Head Office: Shibuya, Tokyo; Representative Director/President: Ryuta Minemura; hereinafter referred to as MEEQ) through Yanmar Ventures II Investment Limited Partnership. MEEQ provides mobile communication lines and no-code IoT platform called “MEEQ” to IoT service providers and enterprises.
MEEQ, a startup founded by SONY Group, provides communication lines for the three major carriers through its IoT platform MEEQ, and also offers the “MEEQ Global SIM”, which can be used in more than 180 countries and regions, to support the realization of DX using IoT both domestically and internationally. With its mission to unlock the potential of business through its technology, MEEQ aims to be a technology company contributing to world-changing innovation.
With “A Sustainable Future” as our brand statement, the Yanmar Group aspires to create a sustainable society.
