(HQ: Osaka Japan; CEO/Managing Partner: Nobuyuki Oda) is pleased to announce that, through Yanmar Ventures I Investment Limited Partnership, it has made an investment in TERRACE MILE, Inc. (HQ: Miyazaki City, Miyazaki Prefecture; Representative Director: Yuichi Ikoma; hereinafter referred to as “Terrace Mile”), a Japanese company which provides cloud-based agricultural management support services.
Terrace Mile is developing and marketing “RightARM”, a system to support agricultural management, with the aim of realizing “profitable agriculture”. By centralizing and analyzing all kinds of data surrounding agriculture in the cloud, RightARM contributes to increasing yields and sophistication of agricultural management. Further, the Yanmar Group has also been playing an important role in recent years in the spread of smart agriculture, with efforts involving local governments around the country to improve productivity and foster the development of farmers.
