COMPACTNESS

With its ultra-short swing radius and highly compact undercarriage, the SV22 can operate in the tightest of environments. It’s particularly suited to urban renewal, grading and landscaping tasks. The canopied version has a transportation weight of only 2,045 kg and there are four anchor points for fixing it securely in place. This means it can be easily loaded and transported on a trailer to a new site, along with its accessories.

STABILITY

The combination of a wide counterweight, asymmetric crawlers (a system patented by Yanmar VICTAS®), and excellent weight distribution provide the SV22 with impressive stability and exceptional lifting capacities. The VICTAS® system works by expanding the bearing surface by increasing the track path and using asymmetric crawlers to enlarge the bearing surface. Along with shorter track pitches, this provides increased lateral stability and lifting capacity, while reducing track wear and delivering quiet, vibration-free movement.

ADVANCED HYDRAULICS

The hydraulic circuit of the SV22 is characterised by the proportional distribution of flow rates. The variable flow pump and the load-sensing closed-centre circuit guarantee precision, flexibility, power and perfect simultaneity of movement. This system allows the operator to undertake tasks smoothly and precisely, regardless of the flow rate or the load involved. In addition, the joysticks are extremely easy to handle and make operator control even more straightforward.

RELIABLE

V-shaped track boxes reduce the build-up of stone and material and add strength to the undercarriage, making it one of the most robust on the market. In addition, the cast-iron structure of the chassis and durable steel covers provide fool-proof resistance. A large counterweight protects against possible shocks and friction against the walls, while hoses are protected with abrasion-resistant sleeves. Routing on the top of the boom and on the right side of the machine help avoid any risk of torsion and limit machine downtime.

EASE OF USE

A large entrance, plenty of legroom, and heater with well-placed vents combine to make the SV22 pleasant to use, even for long periods. All controls are to the right of the operator for easy access. An intuitive digital panel aids easy operator control and offers maintenance overview as well. The dozer blade lever is easy to reach from the driver’s seat, and fast reactive and sensitive joysticks also add to the ease of operation.

ADVANCED SAFETY

The driver’s seat offers good all-round views, with three rear and side-view mirrors to improve visibility still further. It also means that the driver can monitor the area around the machine as well as the immediate work area without moving. For safe working in darkness, a standard LED light is positioned in the lower part of the boom, where it is protected from shocks. A travel alarm is available as an optional extra. An orange seat belt is fitted as standard, and the cabin meets all FOPS, ROPS and TOPS requirements for workplace safety.
