The Nor-Shipping exhibition, held in Oslo, Norway, from 6–9 June, is a big event in Yanmar's calendar. Yanmar has participated consistently in the exhibition for the past decade. In addition, this year's exhibition proved to be especially successful for our company. Yanmar's strong presence in the region was well-acknowledged, and we had the privilege of engaging with numerous current business associates as well as establishing connections with several new prospects.

One notable aspect of our participation was the collaboration with Maritim Motor, our esteemed commercial marine dealer in Norway. Maritim Motor's exceptional performance in sales and service, particularly in its support for projects like several Ronja vessels constructed by Aas Mek and the vessel Gaso Hovding, led to the company receiving a well-deserved Service Award from Yanmar earlier this year. We genuinely appreciate the support and commitment.

It's interesting to note that Norway is an important country for Yanmar due to the demand for fishing vessels. With its cold, clear fjords, Norway provides ideal conditions for fish farming. The country has a strong presence of designing companies, shipyards and businesses in the fishery and aquaculture industries.

Ocean-based industries account for 70% of its exports. This underscores the importance of the maritime sector to the Norwegian economy.

Yanmar's collaboration with Maritim Motor, as well as our presence at the Nor-Shipping exhibition and the strong demand for fishing vessels in Norway, demonstrate the company's commitment to the Norwegian market.
