News Release
YANMAR will not exhibit at Agritechnica 2021
March 29, 2021
Yanmar Europe B.V.
YANMAR Europe, European Headquarters of the Japanese world-leading manufacturer of diesel engines, announces that they have taken the difficult decision not to participate as an exhibitor in the Agritechnica in Germany this year.
Despite the fact that far-reaching measures are being taken worldwide to restrict the spread of COVID-19 and new virus mutations, and the vaccination programme is slowly getting underway, the pandemic is not yet under control. There is still a lot of uncertainty as to what activities we can safely and responsibly undertake for everyone during the course of the year. This also applies to international trade fairs.
Carlo Giudici, Sales Director at YANMAR Europe: “Since preparations for major events like this start months in advance, we have seen the need to already make the difficult decision not to participate this year. This decision was taken after intensive and thoughtful discussion about our plans and activities for this year and the medium term. We very much regret that, after a long tradition, we will not be participating in AGRITECHNICA this year. However, we continue to value and support these important exhibitions, which have been very rewarding to us for decades, and hope to participate in them again in the future.”
