Before the first scheduled maintenance of the engine visit the registration portal at SIGN UP than follow the steps. That’s it! It is handy to have your purchase document and the engine plate photo’s available.

If the terms and conditions are met, Yanmar will carry out repairs and cover the cost of the parts required. There will be no charge to the purchaser if repairs or parts replacement are needed because of defective material or workmanship.

Generally, it is a comprehensive warranty but there are certain situations the extended warranty will not cover. For example, damage due to an accident, misuse, neglect or improper installation. Or not observing the maintenance schedule, rust, using contaminated fuel or unauthorised alterations.

There is no catch. As long as your engine meets the requirements you can benefit from the 5-Year warranty at no costs.
Subject to some industry-standard terms and conditions, Yanmar will repair or replace any part of the engine which is defective in terms of material or workmanship.

In this case your engine would be subject to the normal, existing Yanmar warranty.
