October 19, 2022
Yanmar Compact Equipment EMEA
The show in Munich will see two great events from the leader in compact equipment – the launch of the Yanmar Operators United club and the 90 Second Skills Challenge!
With momentum building thanks to a much talked about teaser campaign, this month’s bauma will see the much-anticipated Yanmar Operators’ United Club open its doors for business! Y.O.U. Club for short, is a celebration of compact equipment life among the Yanmar-loving community. Open to all Yanmar machine operators – even occasional users – members will become part of a family of operators and enjoy gifts, dedicated Y.O.U. merchandise collection, events and competitions.
Initially targeting operators in Europe, Y.O.U. enthusiasts will also have their own dedicated area at bauma, complete with reception desk, bar and hang-out area. There is even a Y.O.U. app. Available in English, French, German and Italian, the app can be accessed on any smartphone and contains exclusive club content, quizzes and access to a wide community of fellow Yanmar enthusiasts’ comments, pictures and videos. As their membership rises through the ranks of bronze, silver and gold Members are also rewarded for their input with gifts.
A minute-and-a-half never felt so short!
Operators aren’t just welcomed on the Yanmar stand – they are the stars of the show! One of the fun activities – open to Y.O.U. members and all enthusiasts – is the 90 Second Challenge. This will see contestants skilfully use a Yanmar SV19vt mini excavator to tackle a grapple and use it to grapple a puzzle! They will need to keep a clear head, though, as moving the four pieces of the puzzle will take concentration, skill, speed and all the dexterity of the Yanmar machine! Prizes will go to the top two on the leader board every day – with gifts including Fitbit smartwatches and Nintendo Switches.
There’s lots of fun going on in Munich with Yanmar CE this week – we’re open house to all operators!
