We’re seeking a dynamic Digital Marketing Specialist to join our YMI Global Marketing team in Almere and contribute to our ongoing digital transformation.
What are you going to do?
As our Digital Marketing Specialist, you will develop and execute cutting-edge digital strategies to enhance our online presence and engage our audience. You will develop and execute SEO strategies, monitor our performances, and maintain our social media presence.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Develop and implement local SEO strategies, including on-page optimization, technical SEO, keyword research, competitor analysis, and content strategy.
- Manage and optimize digital marketing channels such as SEO, CRM, social media, and advertising campaigns. Measure and report performance metrics.
- Conduct regular site audits, track, and report key SEO metrics, and identify optimization opportunities.
- Monitor site traffic and user behaviour, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Produce comprehensive monthly reports.
- Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to integrate best practices across the website.
- Stay informed about industry trends, algorithm updates, and emerging SEO techniques, and recommend new strategies.
Who are we looking for?
We seek a creative and driven individual passionate about digital marketing. You will have the chance to learn and create by experiencing life on the water with us.
The ideal candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree or equal by experience in a relevant field;
- At least 3 years of experience in a Digital Marketing role;
- Experience with website analysis tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console.
- Strong understanding of on-page optimization, technical SEO, keyword research, link building, and content strategy;
- Knowledge of CRM systems;
- Experience with either WordPress/Elementor or Gutenberg;
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO best practices would be a plus;
- Strong language skills, fluent in both spoken and written English. Any other language is a plus.
Applicants must currently reside in the Netherlands and possess eligibility to work in the country, including having a valid work permit or passport.
Work location:
Your regular workplace is Almere, but hybrid working (40% home/60% office) is possible in this position.
