Yanmar has been supplying a huge range of industrial engines for various mobile and stationary applications for many years. To enjoy our products for years, many customers order Yanmar’s original spare parts to ensure the product continues functioning in optimum condition.
Our Parts department meticulously designs, evaluates and manufactures authentic components to guarantee peak safety and quality. We are looking to expand our ‘Sales Back Office’ to maintain our excellent customer service and exceed expectations. Do you enjoy problem-solving in a fast-paced sales support environment?
What are you going to do?
In this position, you will be a member of the Parts department. You will work in an enthusiastic international team that does its utmost to ensure that the processes run as smoothly as possible, with the aim of customer satisfaction.
You will be responsible for order management, logistics, and invoicing processes to deliver YEU spare parts and establish delivery performance and financial control. You work directly with OEMs and Yanmar’s regional sales offices regarding order forecasting and intake.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Enhanced customer care through proactive and responsive communication regularly;
- Efficiently manage incoming orders by coordinating, receiving, and meticulously verifying them across various systems and databases;
- Thoroughly review order confirmations, ensuring accuracy in pricing and delivery terms upon inquiry and receiving questions from customers;
- Synchronize and align with the supply chain team to provide accurate delivery due dates to customers.
- Facilitate logistics information and coordinate all requirements for the seamless export/import of spare parts and components to outside EU and global destinations;
- Generate debits and credit invoices promptly upon process handling, meticulously verifying prices and delivery terms;
- Engage in daily communication with diverse stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and collaboration.

The ideal candidate:
- Minimum MBO4 educational level;
- 3 years experience in Sales support roles;
- Good at working under the pressure of deadlines, coordinating is one of your strengths, has a focus on results, likes to work in an international environment, and is willing to quickly obtain specific business knowledge such as IT Tools;
- The following mindset qualities apply to you: Result driven, creative mind, enthusiastic, pro-active, and strong focus on relation management;
- Strong language skills, fluent in both spoken and written English. French and/or Dutch are preferred.
