When I first heard about this project, I was shocked—Yanmar is creating an anime?! At the same time, I felt a growing excitement, thinking this could become something entirely new, unlike anything we've seen before.I feel that the story carries a powerful message: the future we create depends on the choices we make. I truly hope many people will enjoy this unique and inspiring work.

Stardust Memory

Yoshimura
Koichi Yamadera
I think Yanmar’s HANASAKA philosophy—“Nurturing the next generation who will create new and inspiring surprises, and transforming the future into something exciting”—is truly wonderful.
As a voice actor, I’ve been fortunate to receive many opportunities and to learn so much from my seniors and the projects I’ve worked on.
And yet, instead of mentoring younger talent, I’ve found myself feeling envious of my more popular juniors. Honestly, it’s something I’m embarrassed to admit.
This has been a wake-up call for me. I want to take this opportunity to reflect on how I can contribute to the future and growth of the voice acting industry.

Umi Nagahama
Saori Hayami
The two characters I had the honor of voicing, MIRU and Umi, may take different forms, but both embody and support Yanmar’s vision. As I delivered their lines in front of the microphone, there were moments that truly struck me. I hope that, just as Mr. Yoshimura was moved by their words, the viewers will also feel something after watching this work.

SDK/Kanon
Mariya Ise
Last year, I had the opportunity to serve as a PR ambassador for the Global Anime Challenge, a project dedicated to discovering and nurturing the next generation of anime creators. I originally became a voice actor because I was so inspired by anime as a child that I dreamed of becoming a film director. That experience made me passionate about supporting both the future of anime creators and the children who dream while watching anime. That’s why I deeply resonated with Yanmar’s mission — it aligns perfectly with what I hope to contribute through my work.

Sanders
Yoshitsugu Matsuoka
What we attempt, what we can’t do, and what we can do—none of it matters unless we take that first step.
Without action, not even a 1% chance will ever exist.
Achieving something meaningful always comes with a cost—and it takes real effort.
If there’s something you want to do, go all in.
Even if you fail, you’ll gain valuable experience.
It’s not about saying “I can’t” or “I won’t.”
I believe we should throw ourselves into it fully, learn everything we can, and then keep moving forward.

Jackson
Tsuyoshi Koyama
Everyone lives with some degree of anxiety about the future.
Especially in our profession, where there are no guarantees—it's an incredibly unstable career.
There have been many times when I felt like I was in total darkness, unable to see what tomorrow would bring. However, when I faced the challenges in front of me head-on and gave my all to overcome them, I always found some kind of support along the way—things somehow worked out in the end.
In short, I think it's important to take action and work hard yourself first, rather than waiting for someone else to save you.

MR. ONION
Kenichi Ogata
The future is something we, as humans, must take the lead in shaping.
If we rely too much on machines and AI, we risk losing what makes us human.
That’s why I believe it’s essential to move forward while holding on to our humanity.

Narrator
Mari Yokoo
I believe that hope is essential in life.

Episode 101
The King of the Forest

Mario Vasco Debritto
Tomohiro Ono
I attended a training school for a long time, working toward my dream of becoming a voice actor.
There were many days filled with anxiety as I struggled to get signed by an agency.
I often wondered, "What if I never make it as a voice actor."
But thanks to the many people I met along the way and the support I received, I'm now able to play the role of Mario.
I truly believe that the future is something you can shape with your own hands.
Believe in your potential.

Young Mario
Anna Nagase
This animation project, Miru, felt like a bridge to our future.
The lives we live each day aren’t built by any one person alone—they’re made possible through our connections with others and the support we give each other.
Miru reminded me of that important truth.
I truly hope this project inspires more people to reflect on their surroundings, their communities, and the future we’re all creating together.

Mario's Grandpa
Junpei Morita
Just like Mario’s grandfather says in the story, even if something seems small or insignificant, it’s important to keep putting in the effort and dealing with things step by step.
I believe that’s exactly what Yanmar has done over its 110-year history—steadily building on consistent efforts.
I’m approaching my 50th year as an actor, and I truly believe the reason I’ve been able to keep going this long is because of that same steady accumulation of effort.

Mario's Dad
Yasuyuki Kase
In our line of work, we can’t share what we do—our characters or performances—without the works themselves.
That’s why I hope we can leave behind as many meaningful works as possible for the future.

Clara
Honoka Kuroki
There was a time when I was chasing my vision of the future with everything I had. But I eventually hit a wall—some things just couldn’t be solved by effort alone.
When I found myself stuck, wondering “What more can I possibly do?”, a mentor gave me some advice: “Changing others takes time and is often difficult. Start by changing yourself.”
That was the first time I truly began to understand the importance of seeing things from different perspectives, of being flexible, and of trusting others—even if it means waiting.
Of course, it’s important for each of us to give our best.
But that doesn’t mean we have to do everything alone.
I believe that trusting your teammates and fulfilling your own role with care is what ultimately leads us toward the future we dream of.

???
Makoto Furukawa
Lately, I’ve come to realize that the things I find bothersome are usually the things that are actually worth doing.
They might not always be urgent or absolutely necessary, but deep down, I know they’re tasks or challenges I should take on.
And maybe—just maybe—it’s the accumulation of those small, inconvenient efforts that ends up being most important in shaping our future.

Episode 217
Londonderry Air

Ame
Chika Anzai
In a life where we make choices every day, I think that if we choose with a bit of faith in a wonderful future and the possibilities ahead, we can move in a brighter direction.
It's not quite like the butterfly effect, I'm hopeful that one day, I’ll be able to look back and celebrate the fact that the choices I made back then led me to where I am now. Through this work, I’ve come to reaffirm that thought.
I hope that, through this work, viewers also take a moment to reflect on the choices they make every day.

Big Sis
Ami Koshimizu
I think it's easy to let our own potential and futures become vague, and to deliberately avoid getting our hopes up when we remember past failures. While there’s no guarantee, I hope that everyone can muster the courage to set clear goals for themselves. I think what changes us the most is not achieving things perfectly at 100%, but rather turning something impossible (0%) into something possible (1%).

Professor
Daisuke Hirakawa
In this episode, MIRU says, "My existence is proof of that. The emotions you feel are sure to be passed onto the AI."
Whether we’re the ones creating technology or using it, I believe it’s important to do so with a heart that’s been nurtured with empathy and richness.
If we hold on to that, I truly believe a future awaits where our relationship with technology becomes something even more meaningful and beautiful.
I hope this story can be a small spark that encourages people to reflect on that kind of future.

Re: MIRU

Toshi / Drunk Man
Daisuke Hirakawa
Even if it's not something big or particularly praiseworthy, if each of us continues to notice, pay attention to, and take action on the small things around us with the desire to make a change, I think that eventually this will lead to big changes and help to create a better future. I feel I need to be aware of this as I live my life from now on.

Miho
Nao Toyama
I truly believe that even the smallest individual actions can have a real impact on the future. There were things that, not long ago, might’ve been seen as over-the-top, but with a shift in mindset or just the right spark, they eventually became part of the new normal or even something admired.
That kind of change in public perception comes from the attitudes of people living in the present. Even if it’s not a big or dramatic action, being mindful of your choices and staying consistent in what you believe in can lead to meaningful change.

Adam
Risae Matsuda
Thinking about the future can be stressful for some, as it might involve facing unknown anxieties or feelings of powerlessness.
That’s why, to lower the bar for ourselves, I think it’s a good idea to start with things we can do now, like being mindful of separating trash. Even if we don't feel a direct connection between our daily actions and the future, I believe that someday, those actions will link us to our future selves and to the world.

Sato
Takuma Suzuki
Many people are feeling uncertain about the future, and it’s easy to think that one person alone can’t make a difference. But the message that “change starts when each of us takes action instead of giving up” is incredibly powerful and encouraging. It really inspires me—and it’s the kind of mindset I want to live by, too.

Episode 926
Wait, I'll Be There

Airu
Natsu Yorita
The path to the future is a series of decisions. Even with small things like deciding which clothes to buy, I often find myself struggling and feeling drained by those decisions. It turns out that making decisions actually takes a lot of energy... But being part of Miru gave me a bit of relief. It reminded me that at the core of every decision is something much more instinctive—something deeply human and simple at heart.
I hope that the pure hearts and straighforward way of life of the characters resonate with viewers in a comforting and meaningful way.

Izumif
Romi Park
These are unstable times. It may be hard to envision a fulfilling future, but I want to be someone who never gives up on having hope for the future and for myself, and I strongly received that message from this work.

Pochimaru
Aimi Tanaka
Looking back, my life changed drastically when decided to become a voice actor at 18.
I am where I am today thanks to good fortune and the people I have met, and I am looking forward to more experiences and encounters in the future.
I hope that 未ル(Miru) will be a driving force for viewers’ positive feelings and motivation.

Dr. Aira
Yuhko Kaida
When you believe in your own potential and step out of the loop of maintaining the status quo, the familiar scenery changes, a new path becomes visible, and new friends will appear. What you see with your own eyes, think with your own mind, and feel with your own heart, will turn into confidence. The first step is scary, but there are exciting things waiting for you.
Let's create our futures with our own hands! If our paths cross somewhere, let's work hard together.

MUSIC
Opening Theme Song "愛詩 (AI=UTA)"

Composer
Noriyasu Agematsu
(Elements Garden)
As both a musician and an anime creator, I was deeply moved by Yanmar's vision to convey hope for the future to the world through anime. The journey of how a company specializing in construction and agricultural machinery ventured into robot anime production was so inventive and full of a spirit of challenge, and it made me decide to accept the offer, thinking, "If there’s any way I can contribute, I want to help." When composing this piece, I carefully considered how to express the world of 未ル(Miru): Paths To My Future and create music that would deeply connect with V.W.P's young and dedicated fans. Lyricist Hibiki has crafted each word with precision, viewing young people's struggles not just as personal challenges but as part of a cosmic narrative, while still grounding them in everyday reality. I sincerely hope that this anime becomes a source of solace for people all around the world.

Producer
Akihiro Tomita
未ル(Miru): Paths To My Future feels like a "mythology for a new era" offering both imaginative and realistic challenges for today’s younger generation as they navigate the present and shape the future. While it was certainly a pleasure to be in charge of the theme song for such an outstanding anime work, I feel honored to have worked on its production alongside Noriyasu Agematsu and Yusuke Takeda from Elements Garden, and to collaborate with the wonderful members of V.W.P. I hope everyone will enjoy the series along with the theme song, "AI=UTA."
V.W.P

【KAF】
"愛詩 (AI=UTA)" is a song that evokes the beauty of the earth and sacred colors, striking the heart with its depth. How will people build relationships with the robot, MIRU? What paths will they choose? And how will our song intertwine with the story? I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds when the anime airs!
【RIM】
Hello, I’m RIM from V.W.P! "愛詩 (AI=UTA)" is a song filled with the hope that "we create our own future." It carries the strength to overcome hardships and move forward with positivity. I especially hope this song and anime reach those who may be facing challenges right now. Just like in the real world and the anime, we may exist in different timelines. But I hope that—even across these different worlds—we can be a presence that gently stays by your side.
【Isekaijoucho】
I’m Isekaijoucho from V.W.P, and I had the honor of singing "愛詩 (AI=UTA)." This song begins with a sacred melody and unfolds with a soft expansiveness, as if embodying the birth of life itself. While singing, I felt as though I was being guided by the music, soaring endlessly with a sense of exhilaration. I want to witness what lies ahead for as long as I can. And I believe "未ル(Miru)" will be there to support us as we live in this very moment.
【Harusaruhi】
I'm Harusaruhi. Since this anime will be told in an anthology format, I’m beyond excited to see how each unique story comes to life. With that same excitement and a heart full of hope, the five of us came together to sing "愛詩 (AI=UTA)." It’s a song that stirs the heart, carrying a vast sense of scale that takes you on a journey to many places. I hope you’ll enjoy it alongside the anime!
【KOKO】
I’m KOKO from V.W.P, and I had the privilege of singing "愛詩 (AI=UTA)." From the very first notes, the song carries a grand harmony, with phrases that feel almost like a prayer. As I sang, I held onto the hope that this song might bring comfort to someone out there. The chorus builds with momentum, carrying lyrics about taking life one step at a time. I hope this song can be a source of encouragement for you, and that together with the anime, it brings even more depth and color to the story.
Ending Theme Song "Find A Way"

MIYAVI
Yanmar's heartfelt passion in stating: "We want to create opportunities to inspire excitement about the future together with the next generation," really inspired me to take on the challenge of creating the song "Find A Way." This track serves as the ending theme for the anime 未ル(Miru): Paths To My Future, which connects the world of anime and reality. It also represents an ambitious project to reimagine the iconic “The Yanboh & Marboh Song” that I grew up hearing as a child in Osaka. As a musician, I feel deeply honored to be part of this project.
By working together with others, we can discover unseen possibilities and pave new paths.
As a solo artist, I sometimes feel a sense of envy when I see young musicians performing and enjoying their creative journeys with bands and friends. However, I realize that even as a solo artist, I rely heavily on the support of many people to bring a live performance to life—my manager, fellow performers, stage directors, and other staff. There are things you can't achieve alone, but when you have a team or companions, you can accomplish much more. I believe that by continuing to take on challenges, our actions can contribute to a brighter future—and that we can continue to bloom and thrive through these efforts. The characters in the anime deeply resonate with the core message of this song in that they face inner conflicts but ultimately find companions, help each other, and push forward toward the future. If this work inspires even one person to take a new step toward their future, there could be no greater joy for me as a creator.
Executive Producer
Masuo Ueda
When I heard that Yanmar was making an anime, I was shocked. It was like being hit on the head with a hammer. And a robot anime at that!? And it doesn’t even have weapons? A non-combat, weaponless robot?
I started my anime career with Mobile Suit Gundam and never imagined that at this age, I'd be working on another robot anime.
However, as I learned more, I became fascinated by the project's challenging nature and the team's enthusiasm. Now, I am deeply engrossed in it. This might be my last major project in my anime career, and I am incredibly happy to be part of this exciting endeavor.
